“The Lord is near” (Psalm 34:18)

“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit” (Psalm 34:18, NKJV).

“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit” (Psalm 34:18, KJV).

In response to someone on social media who spoke of being brokenhearted, I responded: What does this mean? Why is your heart broken? 💔 God can fix it, okay? ❤️‍🩹 I prayed for you. Don’t worry. Something better will come. 🙌

“耶和华靠近伤心的人，
他必拯救灵里痛悔的人”（诗篇 34：18）。

“여호와는 마음이 상한 자들에게 가까이 하시며
통회하는 심령을 가진 자를 구원하시리로다”(시편 34:18).
