March 29, 2023, is the 88th day of the year. There are 88 keys on the piano keyboard, hence the 88th day of the year is considered Piano Day. I don’t celebrate with live piano since we gave away our old piano two years ago and haven’t replaced it. However, I can celebrate by listening to piano music.
This is a photograph of my son playing a painted grand piano at the Incheon airport in South Korea several years ago. We were waiting for our flight in Asia, visiting family. Sadly, he doesn’t seem to be playing piano anymore, even after 14 years of lessons, festivals, awards, and achievements in piano.
