A Note to Readers
The first three books in the Protector Sweethearts series, as well as the prequel, happen back to back. That is to say, there is a sequence that runs through all 4 books:
- Prequel: Once Bitten, Twice Shy (Guardian Sweethearts Book 1) ends with Mama Hu missing. That’s the impetus for Once a Thief (Protector Sweethearts Book 1).
- Book 1: Once a Thief begins just a few days after its prequel, Once Bitten, Twice Shy ends.
- Book 2: The prologue of Once a Hero (Protector Sweethearts Book 2) happens when Helen and Reuben are flying to their honeymoon in the last chapter of Once a Thief.
- Book 3: Once a Spy (Protector Sweethearts Book 3) begins during the wedding reception of our protagonists in Once a Hero.
