Once Bitten, Twice Shy

Once Bitten, Twice Shy

Christian Suspense In Between Tell You Soon and Once a Thief

A cold case binds an estranged couple together.

ABOUT THIS BOOK

Private investigator Ming Wei and his estranged real estate agent wife, Sabine, investigate an old unsolved vehicular homicide that took Sabine’s father’s life many years ago.

Ming and Sabine first appeared in Tell You Soon (Savannah Sweethearts Book 3) in which they fell in love and married each other. In Once Bitten, Twice Shy, they now have two kids but their marriage is on the rocks. Somewhat separated, Ming works in Dubai while Sabine stays in Savannah to help Mom investigate Dad’s death.

If you recall, in Tell You Soon (Savannah Sweethearts Book 3), Sabine mentioned that her father died in a mysterious road accident that was unsolved. In her sister’s story, Once a Thief (Protector Sweethearts Book 1), Helen and her mom (aka Mama Hu) commiserated about missing Dad. Well, in between those two books, we have Once Bitten, Twice Shy, in which we find out what happened to Edgar Hu, the founder of Hu Knows, Inc., investigative firm based in Savannah, Georgia, with worldwide clients.

The epilogue of Once Bitten, Twice Shy leads straight into Chapter One of Once a Thief.
